Xserve RAID Take Apart -

Left or Right Front Light Pipe

Tools

The only tools required for this procedure are a Phillips screwdriver and a ﬂat-blade

screwdriver.

Preliminary Steps

Before you begin, remove the system from the rack and place it on a sturdy, ﬂat surface

and ESD mat. Then remove the following:

• Top cover

• Front bezel

• Right or left front panel board

Note:

The same light pipe is used behind both the left and right front panel boards.
