Tools

The only tool required for this procedure is a Phillips screwdriver.

Preliminary Steps

Before you begin, remove the system from the rack and place it on a sturdy, ﬂat surface

and ESD mat. Then remove the following:

• All hard drives

• Both power supplies

• Both cooling modules

• Both controller modules

• Both backup batteries, if installed

• Top cover

• Front bezel
