Troubleshooting Symptom Charts/Paper - 18
Paper doesn’t load
completely
1 Remove paper tray and check for obstructions.
2 Clean drive rollers. Use water on a clean lint-free cloth.
3 Replace paper tray.
4 Replace mechanical assembly.
5 Reseat logic board connectors. Replace logic board.
Paper doesn’t eject 1 Remove and reinstall paper tray.
2 Inspect “wings” to be sure they are properly and completely
installed. Refer to the Exploded View for wing locations.
3 Remove media from paper path.
4 Verify media meets specifications.
5 Inspect clutch actuator to see that it moves freely. See
“Fixing Carriage Stalls” in Additional Procedures for
location.
6 Replace mechanical assembly.
