Installation for Power Macintosh 7300 or
Power Macintosh 7600
This procedure describes how to install the Splash Interface card in
Power Macintosh 7300 or Power Macintosh 7600 model computers:
1. If the computer is running, shut it down. Remove the keyboard, mouse,
monitor, and any other peripheral equipment from the computer before you
install the Splash interface card.
Leave the power cable plugged into the computer and a power outlet to ground
the computer as you install the card.
2. Press the two release buttons under the front panel and slide the computer
cover forward approximately two inches. Lift the cover up and away from the
computer chassis.
The release buttons are
located under the front
panel, on the right and
left sides.
Press on the release
buttons, then slide the
cover forward.
