5 Lift the latch on the side of the computer.
Note: If the latch won’t lift, check that the security lock port and lockable cover latch in the
back of the computer are not locked.
6 Gently lower the side panel onto a clean, flat surface, preferably onto a soft, clean cloth.
Lift the latch to unloc

Gently lower the side
panel until it lies flat.
