Backup Battery
Replacement Instructions
The following instructions explain how to replace the backup battery in the PowerBook G4
computer.
Tools
• Soft towel or cloth, larger than the PowerBook
• Black stick (on other nonconductive nylon or plastic tool)
Preliminary Steps
Before you begin, remove the following:
• Battery
• Keyboard
• Bottom case
• DVD-ROM drive
