Take Apart Main Deflection Board and CRT/Video Board Module - 23
7 Use a pen light to check
for glue between the
CRT socket and the CRT
neck. If glue is there,
use a sharp knife to cut
through the glue where
the CRT socket meets the
CRT glass. If necessary,
use a needlenose pliers
to pull away strips of
glue.
Caution:
To avoid
damaging the CRT, work
slowly as you cut the
glue, and check that no
wires are in the way.
