To check PPPoE settings:
1 ChooseApple()>SystemPreferences.
2 ClickNetwork.ClickAdd(+)atthebottomofthenetworkconnectionserviceslist,and
choosePPPoEfromtheInterfacepop-upmenu.
3 ChooseaninterfaceforthePPPoEservicefromtheEthernetpop-upmenu.Choose
Ethernetifyouareconnectingtoawirednetwork,orAirPortifyouareconnectingtoa
wirelessnetwork.
4 Entertheinformationyoureceivedfromyourserviceprovider,suchastheaccount
name,password,andPPPoEservicename(ifyourserviceproviderrequiresit).
5 ClickApplytomakethesettingsactive.

MakesuretheEthernetcableispluggedintoyourMacBookandintothenetwork.
CheckthecablesandpowersuppliestoyourEthernethubsandrouters.
