The next time you start your computer, you’ll probably want
to reset the system date and time and adjust the other
parameters to your liking.
To install the MPEG card, you’ll insert it into a slot on the
computer’s logic board and then connect it to the video
input card. The steps for installing the MPEG card vary
slightly depending on whether the computer has a built-in
monitor.
Installing the card in a modular computer
If your system has a separate monitor, like the computer
shown below, continue with the steps that follow. If the
monitor is built into your computer, go to the next section,
“Installing the Card in a Compact Computer.”
