Note: A solid-state drive (SSD) option is available only for MacBook Pro (17-inch, Late 2008),
which can be identied by its computer Model Number A1261, printed on the bottom case.
Tools
This procedure requires the following tools:
Torx T6 screwdriver (magnetized)•
Black stick (nylon probe 922-5065) or other non-conductive nylon or plastic at-blade tool•
Kapton tape (922-1731) (0.5-inch x 12-yard roll)•
