Thermal Sensors
Important: There are two thermal sensors, each requiring precise placement. One sensor is
attached to the bottom case and one to the heatsink—they are NOT interchangeable.
Tools
This procedure requires the following tools:
Fine-point felt-tip permanent marker•
Razor knife•
Needle-point metal probe•
Kapton tape (922-1731) (0.5-inch x 12-yard roll)•
Black stick (nylon probe 922-5065) or other non-conductive nylon or plastic at-blade tool•
Preliminary Steps
Before you begin, remove the following:

Right Fa• n (for bottom case sensor)
