Conguring AFP Service Logging Settings
Use the Logging pane of AFP service in Server Admin to congure and manage
service logs.
To congure AFP service Logging settings:
1 Open Server Admin and connect to the server.
2 Click the triangle at the left of the server.
The list of services appears.
3 From the expanded Servers list, select AFP.
4 Click Settings, then click Logging.
5 To keep a record of users who connect to the server using AFP, select “Enable
access log.”
6 To periodically close and save the active log and open a new one, select “Archive
every __ days” and enter the number of days after which the log is archived.
The default is 7 days. The server closes the active log at the end of each archive
period, renames it to include the current date, and then opens a new log le.
