Standard Attributes in Cong Records
The following table describes the standard attributes found in the following Open
Directory cong records:
The mcx_cache record always has the RecordName of mcx_cache. It also uses Â
RealName and DataStamp to determine whether the cache should be updated or
whether the server settings should be ignored. If you want managed clients, you
must have an mcx_cache cong record.
The passwordserver record has the PasswordServerLocation attribute. Â
Use this information when working in Workgroup Manager’s Inspector pane or
when mapping cong record attributes with Directory Utility (located in Accounts
preferences).
