Standard Attributes in Computer Records
The following table describes the standard attributes found in Open Directory
computer records.
Computer records associate the hardware address of a computer’s primary Ethernet
interface with a name for the computer. The name is part of a computer group record
(much as a user is in a group).
Use this information when working in Workgroup Manager’s Inspector pane or when
mapping computer record attributes with Directory Utility (located in Accounts
preferences).
