5. Connect and try to start up
from known-good original
system media, like an up-to-
date, bootable OS X volume
or similar system connected
and setup in Target Disk Mode,
and press the Option (alt)
key on startup to select and
attempt to boot from it. Does
system boot from one of these
devices?
Yes Reconnect main drive cable
to logic board and go to step
6
No If second drive is not
recognized, go to SSD Drive
not recognized.
6. Power on system, press the Alt
key on keyboard and attempt
to boot the system from the
Internal hard drive. Does it
boot?
Yes System is booting. Issue does
not happen anymore.
No If the hard drive is not
recognized, go to Hard Drive
