Copy and paste stas or voices
In the Sta Style window, you can copy and paste stas in a sta style, and also copy and paste
voices in a sta.
Copy and paste stas in a sta style
1 In the Sta section of the Sta Style window, select the sta.
2 Choose Edit > Copy from the Sta Style window menu bar (or press Command-C).
3 Choose Edit > Paste from the Sta Style window menu bar (or press Command-V).
The copied sta is pasted above the selected sta. If no sta is selected, the copied sta is pasted
below the last (lowest) sta in the sta style.
Copy and paste voices in a sta
1 In the Voice section of the Sta Style window, select the voice.
2 Choose Edit > Copy from the Sta Style window menu bar (or press Command-C).
3 Choose Edit > Paste from the Sta Style window menu bar (or press Command-V).
The copied voice is pasted above the selected voice. If no voice is selected, the copied voice is
pasted below the last (lowest) voice in the sta. If a dierent sta is selected, the copied voice is
added is pasted below the last (lowest) voice in the selected sta.
Copy sta styles between projects
You can copy sta styles that you use frequently to other projects. You can import all sta styles
from another project, or copy only selected sta styles.
Import all sta styles from another project
1 Do one of the following:
Choose File > Project Settings > Import Project Settings.
Click the Browsers button in the control bar, then click All Files.
2 Navigate to and select the project le, then click the Import button.
Note: If accessing the settings from the All Files Browser, you also need to click the Import
Settings button, which appears after you click the Import button.
3 In the Import Settings window, select the Sta Styles checkbox (and deselect all other settings
that you don’t want to import), then click the Import button.
All sta styles from the other project are imported into the current one.
Copy selected sta styles from another project
1 In the project that contains the sta styles you want to copy, open the Sta Style window. (Single
view is displayed.)
2 Double-click in the space below the Sta Style parameters to display a listing of all sta styles.
3 Select the sta styles you want to copy, then choose Edit > Copy (or press Command-C).
4 Open the Sta Style window in the target project, then choose Edit > Paste (or
press Command-V).
Note: If you copy a MIDI region from one project to another, and the sta style used by the
original MIDI region doesn’t exist in the target project le, it is automatically copied, along with
the MIDI region.
