Save a copy with a dierent name to a specic location
1 Choose Audio File > Save A Copy As from the Audio File Editor menu bar.
2 Choose your settings in the Save A Copy As dialog:
You can set the sample rate, bit depth, le format, stereo conversion, and dither type for the
destination le. The dialog also features an Add resulting les to Project Audio option, allowing
you to add the le to the Project Audio Browser, following the save.
3 Browse to the location (such as a hard disk and folder) where you want to store the audio le,
then enter a name for the audio le in the Save As eld.
4 Click Save.
Save the selected area as a new audio le
m Choose Audio File > Save Selection As from the Audio File Editor menu bar (default key
command: Shift-Command-S).
The Save Selection As dialog includes the same le conversion choices as the Save A Copy
As dialog.
