Save a copy with a dierent name to a specic location
1 Choose Audio File > Save A Copy As from the Audio File Editor menu bar.
2 Choose your settings in the Save A Copy As dialog:
You can set the sample rate, bit depth, le format, stereo conversion, and dither type for the
destination le. The dialog also features an “Add resulting les to Project Audio” option, allowing
you to add the le to the Project Audio Browser, following the save.
3 Browse to the location (such as a hard disk and folder) where you want to store the audio le,
then enter a name for the audio le in the Save As eld.
4 Click Save.
Save the selected area as a new audio le
m Choose Audio File > Save Selection As from the Audio File Editor menu bar (default key
command: Shift-Command-S).
The Save Selection As dialog includes the same le conversion choices as the Save A Copy
As dialog.
