Search for loops by name
m Enter a search term in the search eld, then press Return.

The search term can be alphabetical or numerical. Any les that match your search term are
displayed in the results list.
View or clear recent search terms
Do one of the following:
m To view a recent search term: Click the magnifying glass icon at the left side of the search eld,
then choose a search term from the pop-up menu to display the results.
m To clear a search term: Click the small “x” at the right side of the search eld.
m To clear all search terms: Click the magnifying glass icon at the left side of the search eld, then
choose Clear Search History from the pop-up menu.
Play Apple Loops
After searching for loops in the Loop Browser, you can listen to the results to nd the loop that
sounds best in your project. When you listen to a loop, you can hear it by itself (solo), or play it
together with the project.
Play a loop
1 Select a loop in the results list.
The loop plays back in the project’s tempo and key.
2 Drag the Volume slider at the bottom of the Loop Browser to adjust the volume of the loop
you’re listening to.
3 Choose a key from the “Play in” pop-up menu to adjust the playback key.
The loop plays to the project key by default, but you can play the loop in its original key or any
key from C to B.
4 Click the loop again to stop playing.
