Chapter 7 Work with tracks 200
m No Transpose checkbox (software instrument tracks only): When selected, regions on the track are
not transposed. (In other words, the Transpose Region parameter is ignored.) This can be useful
for instruments assigned to drum or other samples mapped across the keyboard on a single
MIDI channel.
m No Reset checkbox (software instrument tracks only): When selected, no reset messages are sent to
the track’s instrument. This can be useful when using controllers for nonmusical purposes, such
as Mixer automation.
m Sta Style pop-up menu (software instrument tracks only): Choose the default sta style for
the track.
