Chapter 5 EuCon Support of Euphonix MC and System 5-MC 127
Track Control Bar
The Track Control Bar of the Logic Pro Arrange window offers a special feature on the
Euphonix MC and System 5-MC devices: it shows attentioned tracks in light blue. All
currently accessed tracks are shown in dark blue.
Note: The color of the track control bar can not be changed in the Control Surface
Setup window.
System 5-MC Specific Features
This section describes how the System 5-MC (CM408T) fader module controls Logic Pro
in EuCon mode.
TFT Display
Level meters: Display the level of the respective channel strip. Two discrete level
meters are shown for stereo channels, multiple linked columns (the number matches
the project surround format) for surround channels.
Channel Strip Info section: Displays the channel strip name, number, stereo/surround
mode, input and output assignments.
Graphs: In all knobsets (except EQ), the graph section displays the current panorama
or surround position. If the EQ knobset is selected, the graph section displays the
current frequency response. If the EQ plug-in is bypassed, the curve is displayed in
gray, rather than green.
Knobset assignment: The eight lines normally display the assignment of a knob. The
current value of a knob is displayed when it is touched. In the Output and Group
knobset, a green frame is shown around the text of knob cells with a lit On key.
Color bar: The color corresponds to the color assigned to the audio (or instrument)
channel.
Two Keys Above Knobsets
Pressing the two keys above a knobset is equivalent to pressing the MC Back key: You
move up one level in the hierarchy, if applicable.
