Rename a score symbol set
1. Click and hold the name of the current score symbol set in the Part box title, then
choose Rename Set from the Part Box Sets pop-up menu.
2. Enter a new name for the score symbol set.
Delete the current score symbol set
Click and hold the name of the current score symbol set in the Part box title, then choose
Delete Set from the Part Box Sets pop-up menu.
Show the inspector channel strips below the Part box
The inspector channel strips appear below the Part box in the Score inspector. Depending
on the size of the Score Editor and how many groups appear in the Part box, it may not be
visible.
Click the disclosure triangle to close the Part box, and, if necessary, other inspectors in the
Score inspector.
Select score symbols in the Logic Pro Part box
There are several ways to select score symbols in the Part box. You can select symbols
directly by clicking, or select them using the button for the Part box group. Some symbols
can be selected using key commands.
Select a score symbol
1. If the symbol isn’t visible, click the button for the corresponding Part box group at the
top of the Part box.
2. Click the symbol.
Select note symbols using key commands
Use any of the following (unassigned) key commands:
Partbox:1/1 Note
Partbox:1/2 Note
Partbox:1/4 Note
Partbox:1/8 Note
Partbox:1/16 Note
Partbox:1/32 Note
Select triplet and dotted note symbols using key commands
Do any of the following:
Press a note selection key command twice to select the corresponding triple note value.
Three times selects the dotted note value.
Four times returns to the original note value.
