Change the position of a tempo change
In Logic Pro, drag any of the position numbers up or down, or double-click in the
Position or SMPTE column and enter a new position.
Move the selected tempo change event to the current playhead position
In Logic Pro, use the Move Region/Event to Playhead Position (Pickup Clock) key command.
Display additional events in the Tempo List
In theLogic Pro Tempo List, click the Additional Info button.
All tempo change events, including those located on the tempo curve, are displayed in
the Tempo List.
Delete a tempo change event in the Tempo List
In Logic Pro, do one of the following:
Click the tempo change event with the Eraser tool.
Select the tempo change event, then choose Edit > Delete (or press Delete).
Set the granularity level for tempo curves
In Logic Pro, choose Options > Granularity from the local Tempo List menu, then choose
the note value from the submenu.
Use tempo sets in Logic Pro
When Show Advanced Tools is selected in the Advanced preferences pane, you can
create tempo sets, and choose between different tempo sets in a project. Only tempo
changes that are part of the current set appear in the Tempo track and Tempo List. When
you create new tempo changes, they become part of the current tempo set.
Create a tempo set
In the Logic Pro Tempo List, choose New Set from the Tempo Set pop-up menu.
When you create a new tempo set, previously added tempo changes are no longer visible
in the Tempo track or Tempo List. When you create new tempo changes, they become part
of the current tempo set. The initial tempo is always visible.
Rename a tempo set
1. In Logic Pro, select the tempo set, then choose Rename Set from the Tempo Set pop-up
menu.
2. Enter a new name for the tempo set, then click OK.
Choose a tempo set
In the Logic Pro Tempo List, choose a set from the Tempo Set pop-up menu.
When you choose a tempo set, only tempo changes that are part of the set appear in the
Tempo track and Tempo List.
Delete a tempo set
In Logic Pro, select the tempo set, then choose Delete Set from the Tempo Set pop-up
menu.
