Delete multiple flex markers from an audio region
In Logic Pro, drag across multiple flex markers with the Eraser tool.
Important: Use the Eraser tool in the body of the waveform only. Using it in the region
header deletes the entire region.
Delete all manually added flex markers from an audio region
In Logic Pro, control-click the region background, then choose Reset Manual Flex Edits
from the shortcut menu.
Reset a region to its original length
In Logic Pro, control-click the region background, then choose Reset All Flex Edits from
the shortcut menu.
All flex markers are deleted, including any that were placed automatically—during the audio
quantization process, for example.
Move a flex marker to a neutral position
In Logic Pro, control-click the flex marker, then choose Set To Neutral Position from the
shortcut menu.
The flex marker moves to the same position the audio sample would have moved to if the
flex marker had been deleted.
Move a flex marker without time stretching
In Logic Pro, hold down Option while you drag the flex marker.
Flex-enabled tracks Quantize menu in Logic Pro
You can adjust the timing of an audio track, or a group of audio tracks, without adjusting
individual flex markers using the quantize function available in the region parameter
box. When quantizing multiple tracks in a group, you can select specific tracks to be the
Q-Reference or quantize reference tracks. This is useful for drum groups where the kick
and snare tracks (which typically keep the steadiest rhythm) can be used as reference
tracks for quantizing the entire drum kit.
