Choose a drummer without changing the current patch
• In Logic Pro, hold down Option while choosing a drummer.

Choose drummer presets in Logic Pro
After choosing a genre and drummer you can choose from a collection of drummer-specific
presets in the Drummer Editor. Presets offer a quick way to browse predefined, region-
based Drummer Editor settings, including kit piece pattern variations and fill settings. You
can use the default settings, or you can edit them and save your own presets. User presets
can be deleted, but factory presets cannot.
Whenever you choose a different preset or edit settings for the current one, you can play
back the selected region to hear the changes. You can also play back a subtly different
version of the selected region without editing any of the region settings.
Play the selected region using the current preset
• In Logic Pro, click the Play button in the ruler at the top of the editor.
