Revert to the last saved version of a project
If you decide you don’t want to keep your latest edits to a project, you can revert to the last
saved version of the project.
In Logic Pro, choose File > Revert to (or use the corresponding key command), then
choose the last saved version (at the top of the list).
Important: After a project is saved as a Logic Pro project, it can no longer be opened in
earlier versions of Logic Pro.
Delete Logic Pro projects
If you no longer want to keep a project, you can delete it from your computer.
Important: If audio files and other assets are stored in a project, they are deleted with the
project.
Delete a project
1. Locate the project in the Finder.
By default, projects are saved in the Logic subfolder in the Music folder on your
computer.
2. Drag the project to the Trash.
If you later decide you want to keep the project, you can drag it out of the Trash if you
haven’t emptied the Trash. After you empty the Trash, the project cannot be recovered.
3. Choose Finder > Empty Trash.
Play and navigate projects
Play a Logic Pro project
You can play a project any time you’re working on it, in order to hear your latest changes.
When you play a project, playback starts from the current position of the playhead. If Cycle
mode is turned on, playback starts from the beginning of the cycle area.
Start playback
In Logic Pro, click the Play button in the control bar (or press the Space bar).
While the project is playing, the Go to Beginning button in the control bar becomes a
Stop button.
