Working with Instruments
and Eects
Logic Pro provides a number of ways to add instruments and
eects to your channel strips.
Channel strips contain Insert slots, which are used for inserting eects. Eects color or
shape the tone of existing audio recordings, software instruments, and external audio
sources in real time. Instrument channel strips also feature an Instrument slot, which is
used for inserting instruments. Instruments are used for real-time playback in Logic Pro.
