Exploring the Audio Bin
The Audio Bin can be viewed as an audio le catalog for your project. Once an audio
le has been added to your project, it appears in the Bin.
Getting Ready
Open the Bin:
Click the Bin tab at the top of the Media area (or press the B key). The two Apple Loops
audio les you added to the audio track in the previous section appear in the Bin.
The Info column displays audio le and region information. The horizontal bars indicate
the overall audio le length. The colored sections of these bars indicate the location
and size of audio regions within the audio le.
Try This
Import an audio le into the Bin:
Choose Audio File > Add Audio File, browse to a location where you’ll nd an audio le,
click the Add button, then click the Done button. The audio le is added to the Bin.
Add an audio le to the Arrange area:
Drag the audio le you just imported from the Bin into the Arrange area.
