Adding Eects to Multiple Channel Strips
Chapter 3 discussed using Insert slots to add eects into a channel strip’s signal ow.
But what if you want to use the same eect on more than one channel strip?
You do this using Send slots—sending the signal on each channel strip to the same
aux channel strip, on which you add the eects.

Add an eect to multiple channel strips:
Drag horizontally across channel strips 14 and 15 to select them.1
Click the top empty Send slot of either channel strip, then choose Bus 6 from the Bus 2
pop-up menu, for example.
