The Event Float Window
The Event Float window provides information on the currently selected event (or region),
and can be compared to a single line of the Event List. You can edit the following
parameters in this window.
The start point of the selected event or region in bars, beats, divisions, and ticks
The type or name of the selected event or region
The recorded MIDI channel and first data byte (if an event), the name of notes, and the
second data byte (if it exists for the event type)
Length of the selected event or region in bars, beats, divisions, and ticks
To open an Event Float window

Choose Options > Event Float in the main menu bar (or use the Toggle Event Float key
command, default assignment: Option-E).
To switch the Event Float between SMPTE time and the bar/beat display

Click the note symbol (to the right).
