Working with Soundtrack Pro STAP Files
Soundtrack Pro can be used as an alternative to the internal Sample Editor of Logic Express.
To edit audio files in Soundtrack Pro
1 Open Audio Preferences by doing one of the following:
• Choose Logic Express > Preferences > Audio (or use the Open Audio Preferences key
command).
• Click the Preferences button in the Arrange toolbar, then choose Audio from the pop-up
menu.
2 Click the Sample Editor tab, click the Set button below the External Sample Editor section,
then choose Soundtrack Pro.
3 Select an audio file in the Arrange area, then Choose Options > Audio > Open in
Soundtrack Pro (or use the corresponding key command, default assignment: Shift-W).
