Saving, Renaming, and Exporting EXS24 mkII Instruments
You can access all basic sampler instrument file operations in the Instrument Editors
Instrument menu.
Save: Saves the currently loaded sampler instrument. When you create a new instrument
and save it for the first time, you will be asked to provide a name. If you have edited
an existing sampler instrument and use this command, the existing file name is used
and the original instrument is overwritten. You can also use the Save Instrument key
command.
Save As: Saves the currently loaded sampler instrument, but you will be prompted to
provide a (different) file name. Use this command when you want to save a copy, or
multiple versions of, an edited sampler instrument, rather than overwriting the original
version.
Rename: Renames the loaded sampler instrument. The renamed version replaces the
original version on the hard disk.
Export Sampler Instrument and Sample Files: Copies the selected sampler instrument
(including all associated audio files) to another folder location. Choosing this command
opens a standard file selector. You may browse to an existing folder or create a new
folder. You can also use the Export Sampler Instrument and Sample Files key command
(default: Control-C).
