Macintosh, are the
LaserWriter 8.0 driver (icon)
and correct serial port
selected?
No Use the Chooser to select the
LaserWriter 8.0 driver.
5 If you are using an IBM PC
or compatible computer, is
the Windows program
open and active?
No Make sure the window is open and
the document window is active.
Choose Print from the File menu,
select the options you want, and click
Print.
6 If you are using a
Macintosh, is background
printing disabled?
No

screen). Switch the printer off and on
again.

4 Are the correct LaserWriter
Select driver and serial port
selected?
No Use the Chooser to select the
LaserWriter Select 310 or 360 driver
and the port (printer or modem) to
which the printer is connected.
5 Is the printer connected to
the printer port on the
Macintosh?
Yes Make sure AppleTalk is inactive.
6 Is background printing
disabled?
No Disable background printing. If the
problem persists, install a different
LaserWriter Select 360 I/O board.
