Take Apart Pickup Block Motor - 122
motor powers the drive train from paper pickup forward to
the toner cartridge. See “Mechanical Drive Theory” in
Basics.
1 Disconnect the middle cable from the pickup sensor
board.
2 Remove the pickup block motor cabling from the entire
length of its retaining channel.
3 Remove the two long brass-colored screws that secure
the motor to the pickup block and lift out the motor.
