Configuring TCP/IP
You can specify the IP address of the printer. For information about
determining the printers IP address and setting up the printer on a TCP/IP
network, see Chapter 4.
1Choose Configure TCP/IP from the Utilities menu.
2Enter the IP address.
3Enter the subnet mask.
You can specify a subnet mask only if the printers IP address is not 0.0.0.0.
4Enter the default gateway address.
The IP address of the default gateway is used for sending packets from the
local network.
5Click OK.
Printing the Ethernet address
To print the printers Ethernet address:

Choose Print Ethernet Address from the Utilities menu.
Sending PostScript files to the printer
You can download PostScript files to the printer to print a PostScript program
or to run a PostScript program to change the internal settings of the printer. A
PostScript file can be created in a variety of text-editing programs.
For more information on setting up the printer for use with Windows and
DOS applications, see Chapter 7 and Chapter 8.
1Choose Download PostScript File from the Utilities menu.
A dialog box appears.
2Select the file you want to download.
3Click OK.
The file is downloaded to the printer.
