Installing Options
Removing the printer’s side cover
1If necessary, turn the printer so that the left side is accessible.
2 Loosen the two thumbscrews on the back of the printer.
3Slide the side cover to the back until it stops, and then pull the cover towards you to
remove it.
Installing SIMMs
The printer’s circuit board has one Single Inline Memory Module (SIMM)
slot for installing additional memory. RAM is provided on SIMMs that you
insert into the slot.
WARNING Make sure the printer is turned off.
