You can turn the “Shake to Shue” feature on or o in Settings > Music (it’s on by
default). See “Music” on page 12 3.
Controlling Song Playback
When you play a song, the Now Playing screen appears.

Pause a song Tap , or press the center button on the
iPod touch headset (included with Fall 2009
models with 32 GB or more) or the equivalent
button on your Bluetooth headset.
Resume playback Tap
, or press the center button on the
iPod touch headset (included with Fall 2009
models with 32 GB or more) or the equivalent
button on your Bluetooth headset.
Raise or lower the volume Drag the volume slider or use the buttons on the
side of iPod touch. You can also use the volume
buttons on the iPod touch headset (only on Fall
2009 models with 32 GB or more).
Restart a song or a chapter in an audiobook or
podcast
