Radio and TV Interference
Thiscomputerequipmentgenerates,uses,andcan
radiateradio-frequencyenergy.Ifitisnotinstalledand
usedproperly—thatis,instrictaccordancewithApple’s
instructions—itmaycauseinterferencewithradioand
televisionreception.
Thisequipmenthasbeentestedandfoundtocomply
withthelimitsforaClassBdigitaldeviceinaccordance
withthespecicationsinPart15ofFCCrules.These
specicationsaredesignedtoprovidereasonable
protectionagainstsuchinterferenceinaresidential
installation.However,thereisnoguaranteethat
interferencewillnotoccurinaparticularinstallation.
Youcandeterminewhetheryourcomputersystemis
causinginterferencebyturningito.Iftheinterference
stops,itwasprobablycausedbythecomputeroroneof
theperipheraldevices.
Ifyourcomputersystemdoescauseinterferencetoradio
ortelevisionreception,trytocorrecttheinterferenceby
usingoneormoreofthefollowingmeasures:

Turnthetelevisionorradioantennauntilthe
interferencestops.
•
Movethecomputertoonesideortheotherofthe
televisionorradio.
•
Movethecomputerfartherawayfromthetelevision
orradio.
•
Plugthecomputerintoanoutletthatisonadierent
circuitfromthetelevisionorradio.(Thatis,makecertain
thecomputerandthetelevisionorradioareoncircuits
controlledbydierentcircuitbreakersorfuses.)
Ifnecessary,consultAppleoranauthorizedservice
provider.Seetheserviceandsupportinformationthat
camewithyourAppleproduct.Or,consultanexperienced
radio/televisiontechnicianforadditionalsuggestions.

andnegateyourauthoritytooperatetheproduct.
