Battery and Charging
Don’t attempt to replace the iPhone batteryyourself—you
may damage the battery, which couldcause overheating, fire,
and injury. The lithium-ionbattery in your iPhone should be
serviced or recycledby Apple or an authorized service
provider, and must be recycled ordisposed of separately
from household waste. Dispose of batteries according to
