Test GPS
iPhone uses signals from GPS satellites, Wi-Fi hot spots, and cellular towers to get the most
accurate location. If GPS is available, the location indicator will be a blue ball. GPS testing
requires line of sight to the sky for a satellite lock.

the compass reading—the smaller the angle, the greater the accuracy.

2. Go to Settings > Wi-Fi and connect to a known-good Wi-Fi network.
3. Recalibrate Compass by waving iPhone in a gure-eight motion.
