11. Hold down the iPhone. Use
ESD-safe tweezers to grasp
the battery adhesive tab
and slowly pull it outward.
Twist the tweezers to wrap
the adhesive tab around
them.
Battery | Removal
• Hold the tweezers
close and parallel to
the battery as you
twist.
• Don’t pull the
tweezers until the
white adhesive is
wrapped around
them.

9. The top tab is delicate. Hold
down the iPhone. Then
gently peel the battery
adhesive tab from the top of
the battery.
10. Put on the nitrile or lint-free gloves.
