4. Use the gray torque driver
and JCIS bit to install one
new crosshead screw into
the Taptic Engine.
Taptic Engine | Reassembly
Reinstall the following part to complete reassembly:
• Display
5. Position the Taptic Engine connector cowling over the end of the Taptic Engine flex cable.
Inspect the grounding spring on the Taptic Engine connector cowling to ensure that it’s not
damaged.
Don’t touch the grounding
spring on the cowling.

and JCIS bit to install two
new crosshead screws
into the Taptic Engine
connector cowling.
