1. Use ethanol wipes or IPA

wipes on the area shown

in blue to remove any

remaining adhesive from

the enclosure.

3. Complete speaker reassembly steps 1 through 4.

4. Remove the adhesive release liner from the replacement battery shim.

2. Reinstall the Taptic Engine.

Don’t use ethanol wipes

or IPA wipes on the areas

outlined in red. Ethanol

or isopropyl alcohol may

damage the polyester film

and wireless charging unit.

Caution

Ensure that a new super screw is installed in the top right corner of the Taptic Engine.
