Battery | Removal

If the battery adhesive tab or strip breaks off and you can still see it, attempt to retrieve it with the

tweezers. Wrap the tab or strip around the tweezers and repeat step 11. If you can’t see the tab or

strip, continue to step 13.

If all four strips were broken and can’t be retrieved, don’t forcibly pry the battery. Stop the repair.

12. Repeat steps 10 and 11 to remove the remaining adhesive strip from the top of the battery. If you

remove the entire strip, continue to step 13.

13. If all four battery adhesive strips were fully removed, continue to step 15. If at least one strip was fully

removed, continue to step 14.

11. Keep the tweezers in the

channel between the battery

and the shim. Continue to

slowly twist the tweezers

until you’ve removed the

entire battery adhesive strip.

If the battery adhesive tab

or strip breaks off and you

can still see it, attempt

strip around the tweezers

and repeat step 11. If you

can’t see the tab or strip,

continue to step 12.
