1. Place the enclosure in the repair tray with the Lightning connector facing the cutout.
2. Use ESD-safe tweezers
to grasp the bottom right
battery adhesive tab. Gently
peel the adhesive tab away
from the battery.

Peel the adhesive tab
completely away from the
battery before continuing
to step 3.

3. Hold down the iPhone. Use ESD-safe tweezers to grasp the bottom half of the battery adhesive tab
and slowly pull it outward.
4. Keep the tweezers close and parallel to the battery and twist until you see white adhesive strip on the
tweezers.
Don’t pull the tweezers until the white adhesive is wrapped around them.
Important
Don’t scrape or puncture
the battery with the
tweezers.
