Position the metal plate on the right side of the platen
and replace the screw that holds it
(Figure 40, #1).

Position the metal plate on the left side of the platen
and replace the two screws that hold it (Figure 40, #2).
Note
:
The plate has an elongated hole in it. Be sure
to press the plate down as you tighten it; otherwise the
printer will have form feed problems on the left side.
7.
Position the grounding strap and replace the screw
that holds it (Figure 40, #3).
