Can’t Wake From Sleep
Computer cannot be
brought out of
“sleep” mode by
pressing a key on the
keyboard. The
problem is usually
evident by a black
screen and a Green or
Amber LED.
1 Is the front LED green?
Yes: Replace the Analog/Video Board (exchange like-for-like,
there are two versions of this board)
No: Go to next step
2 Reinstall System Software. You must use the system software
that came with the unit in order to get the correct version of
Mac OS.
3 Reset the PRAM by holding down the Option–Command– P–and
R keys.
