iMac G5 (17-inch iSight) Take Apart — ALS Board 91
Remove the Ambient Light Sensor Board
Remove the rubber bumper from between the chassis and the ALS board.
Peel the ALS o the inside bottom of the rear housing.
Replace the Ambient Light Sensor Board
Press the sticky side of the ALS board to the bottom inside edge of the rear housing.
Install the rubber bumper between the back of the ALS board and the chassis.
Replace the logic board.
Replace the CPU fan.
Replace the speakers.
Replace the display panel.
Replace the IR Board.
Replace the lower EMI shield.
Replace the front bezel.
Replace the memory access door.
