3.1 Mac mini (Early or Late 2009 systems) (continued)

All of the plastic retaining clips must be released as described in step ➂

before the top cover will separate from the bottom housing.

Continue working around the perimeter of the Mac mini, releasing clips

as you go. Once you have all of them released, you will see the bottom lift

away from the top cover as shown in the above picture. Once you have

reached this point, turn the Mac mini over in your hands and wiggle the top

cover o of the bottom base. It should come straight o.
