Log in as the root user.1
In the Terminal application, run the following command:2
defaults write /Library/Preferences/com.apple.FinalCutServer.settings
“AUTH_TYPE” -int 1
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences. 3
In the Other section, click Final Cut Server.4
In the Final Cut Server System Preferences window that appears, click the lock icon and 5
authenticate yourself to make changes to any of the panes.
Click Stop to shut down Final Cut Server.6
Click Start to start Final Cut Server.7
In Mac OS X v10.5Leopard,Mac OS X Server v10.5Leopard,
andMacOSXv10.6SnowLeopard,addFinalCutServerinformationinto
theKerberosrealmbydoingthefollowing:
Log in as the root user.1
In Terminal, run the following command:2
cd /Library/Application\ Support/Final\ Cut\ Server/Final\ Cut\
Server.bundle/Contents/Resources/sbin
After the command in step 2 is complete, run the following command:3
./adprincadd.pl -dc <fully qualified hostname of AD server>
fcsvr/<fully qualified hostname of FCSVR machine>
Choose Apple menu > System Preferences. 4
In the Other section, click Final Cut Server.5
In the Final Cut Server System Preferences window that appears, click the lock icon and 6
