Finding a Clips Media File
With the exception of internally generated clips (such as slugs or color bars), all clips
have a media file path in their Source property.
To identify the media file to which a clip refers:
1 Select a clip in the Browser, then choose Edit > Item Properties > Format (or press
Command-9).
The Item Properties window appears, displaying all of the properties of the clip. The
clips Source property contains a file path to the clips media file. In some cases, the
entire path may be truncated to fit within the limits of the window.
2 Click Cancel, press Command-. (period), or press Escape to close the Item Properties
window without making any changes.
